Madrid’s Circuit Kicks Off a Podcast Series with Carlos Sainz as First Star Guest

Madrid has its circuit — and starting next Wednesday 30th, MADRING has its podcast, introducing M-FORCE, the new podcast that dives deep into everything happening — and everything yet to come — around the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix, which will bring Formula 1 back to the capital after 45 years away.

At the starting grid and behind the mic: motorsport and F1 expert Nira Juanco, alongside a first-class guest— Carlos Sainz, Williams driver and newly appointed ambassador of the MADRING circuit.

In this debut episode, Sainz shares his first impressions as the official face of MADRING: “I love Madrid and I love Formula 1 — it’s the perfect match.” He’s equally excited about the track itself and believes it has the potential to become one of the best: “I like it because it’s hybrid, different — with a tighter section and another more open, faster stretch where you can drive more freely.”

The conversation also touches on the generational shift currently reshaping Formula 1, and Sainz’s deep emotional bond with his hometown.

Looking to the future, Sainz talks about the upcoming regulatory changes set to take effect in 2026, and shares his hopes that Williams will take a big step forward — giving him a more competitive car to chase success during the Madrid race weekend.

The Madrid-born driver also promises to return to M-FORCE to keep sharing exclusive insights on the progress of the track and the highly competitive 2025 season.

Carlos Sainz Takes On a Fast Lap Made in Madrid

The episode wraps up with a fun “fast lap” of rapid-fire questions about Formula 1 — with a local twist. Because MADRING doesn’t just want to tell the story of a race. It wants to tell the story of Madrid.

And just so you know: Sainz reveals who he’d invite for a classic bocata de calamares, and which driver he thinks would rock a traditional chulapo suit. Any guesses? All the answers are in M-FORCE, available starting next Wednesday 30th on YouTube, Spotify, and the official MADRING website.
