    • Pass Holder means any person issued with an accreditation, credential or pass (the “Pass”).
    • Associated Bodies means the Promoter, FOWC, FIA, Formula One Management, affiliated companies, teams, drivers, contractors, sponsors and any entity involved in the organisation of the Event.

These T&Cs apply to any person accessing the Venue using a Pass and shall apply in addition to any ticketing terms, venue regulations or accreditation policies.

By accepting, activating or using a Pass, the Pass Holder agrees to be bound by these T&Cs.

  2. Nature of the Pass

The Pass is issued strictly on a personal, revocable, limited and non-transferable basis and shall remain at all times the property of the Promoter. The Pass Holder shall not sell, assign, transfer, lend or otherwise make the Pass available to any third party, nor permit any third party to use it under any circumstances unless expressly authorised in writing by the Promoter.

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice or compensation, to withdraw, suspend or deactivate any Pass at any time.

The Pass shall not be used for any commercial or promotional purposes, including without limitation competitions, contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, hospitality packages or any other activity involving the provision of value or benefit to third parties.

  3. Access and Accreditation Control

The Pass grants access exclusively to the areas of the Venue expressly indicated on the Pass (the “Designated Areas”). Access to any other area is strictly prohibited. Entry to the Venue is conditional upon successful accreditation validation, compliance with all applicable procedures, and, where applicable, verification through digital systems, including QR code access.

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse entry to the Venue or any Designated Area, or to remove any Pass Holder therefrom, for reasons including, but not limited to, safety, security, operational requirements, or protection of the integrity and reputation of the Event.

  4. Conduct and Compliance

The Pass Holder shall ensure that the Pass is worn visibly at all times while within the Venue and must be presented for inspection upon request by authorised personnel.

The Pass Holder shall at all times comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as with all instructions, policies and procedures issued by the Promoter, FOWC, FIA, ASN and any authorised representatives thereof. The Pass Holder shall follow all directions given by security personnel, event staff and emergency services.

The Pass Holder shall behave in a safe, orderly and respectful manner and shall refrain from any conduct that may be considered unsafe, disruptive, unlawful or detrimental to the Event or to any Associated Body. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any Pass Holder from the Venue where such conduct is observed or reasonably anticipated.

The Pass Holder shall be responsible for any damage to property or injury to persons caused by their acts or omissions.

  5. Health, Safety and Assumption of Risk

The Pass Holder acknowledges that motor racing and activities associated with the Event are inherently dangerous and involve significant risks, including the risk of serious injury, permanent disability or death, as well as damage to property.

Such risks include, without limitation, the presence and operation of high-speed vehicles, exposure to debris or objects, fire hazards, fuels and chemical substances, electrical and mechanical risks, restricted working environments such as pit lane and paddock areas, and exposure to high noise levels that may cause hearing damage.

The Pass Holder voluntarily assumes all such risks and undertakes to take all necessary precautions for their own safety. This includes complying with all safety instructions and wearing appropriate clothing and protective equipment where required.

For health and safety reasons, the Pass Holder shall wear appropriate clothing and footwear at all times. In particular, open-toe shoes or any clothing deemed unsafe for restricted or operational areas may be prohibited.

  6. Waiver of Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Pass Holder hereby irrevocably waives, releases, discharges and undertakes not to sue the Promoter, FOWC, FIA, ASN and any Associated Bodies from any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses of any kind whatsoever, whether direct or indirect, and howsoever caused, including but not limited to personal injury, death or damage to property, arising out of or in connection with the Pass Holder’s presence at or participation in the Event.

This waiver shall apply whether such loss, damage or injury is caused, in whole or in part, by negligence (including concurrent negligence), strict liability, fault, breach of duty or otherwise of any of the Associated Bodies, or by any other cause whatsoever.

The Pass Holder further agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Associated Bodies from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with (i) the Pass Holder’s presence at the Event, and/or (ii) any breach of these T&Cs.

The Pass Holder expressly acknowledges that injuries or damages sustained may be aggravated by rescue operations or procedures and voluntarily assumes all such risks.

Nothing in this clause shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law.

  7. Security and Safety Measures

For safety and security reasons, the Pass Holder may at any time be subject to searches of their person, clothing and belongings, and agrees to submit to such searches as a condition of entry to and continued presence at the Venue.

The Pass Holder shall not bring into, or attempt to bring into, the Venue any prohibited items, including but not limited to weapons, firearms, explosives, fireworks, flares, hazardous or toxic substances, drones, radio scanners, walkie-talkies, signal jammers, laser devices, broadcasting equipment, recording equipment not expressly authorised, or any other item that may compromise the safety, security, operational integrity or enjoyment of the Event.

Any such items may be confiscated and, where appropriate, destroyed or disposed of without any liability.

The Pass Holder must immediately comply with all instructions issued by security personnel, Event staff or public authorities. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry, removal from the Venue and withdrawal of the Pass.

  8. Recording, Data and Intellectual Property

The Pass Holder acknowledges that the Event is subject to strict intellectual property, media and data protection controls.

Accordingly, the Pass Holder shall not, without the prior written consent of FOWC, make, create, capture, store, record, reproduce, transmit or otherwise exploit any audio, visual or audio-visual recording, footage or content of the Event, nor any photographic image or still image derived from or capable of being derived therefrom.

Furthermore, the Pass Holder shall not collect, generate, store, record, transmit or distribute any data or information relating to the Event, including, but not limited to, official timing, results, performance data, telemetry, weather data, race control communications or any other technical or sporting data.

The Pass Holder shall not bring into the Venue any equipment or device capable of enabling any of the foregoing activities without prior written authorisation.

Personal electronic devices (including mobile phones and still cameras) are permitted solely for private, personal and non-commercial use. Any recording, image or data captured using such devices may not be used for public display, commercial exploitation, broadcast, transmission, publication or any other non-private purpose.

As a condition of entry, the Pass Holder agrees that, upon request by FOWC or the Promoter, they shall promptly assign in writing to FOWC all intellectual property rights (including copyright and related rights) in any recording, image or data created, captured or recorded by the Pass Holder in connection with the Event.

The Pass Holder acknowledges and agrees that any unauthorised recordings, data or related materials may be confiscated, deleted or destroyed, and that any breach of this clause may result in the immediate withdrawal of the Pass, expulsion from the Venue and legal liability for any resulting damages.

  9. Image Rights

The Pass Holder acknowledges that they may be filmed, recorded or photographed during the Event and hereby irrevocably consents to the use of their image, likeness, voice and name by the Promoter, FOWC and their authorised partners.

Such use may take place worldwide, in perpetuity and on a royalty-free basis, in connection with the broadcast, promotion, marketing and commercial exploitation of the Event.

The Pass Holder waives any and all rights of privacy, publicity or similar rights to the extent necessary to permit such use, provided always that nothing in these T&Cs shall be construed as granting any right to use the Pass Holder’s image in a manner that suggests personal endorsement of any product, service or commercial entity without the Pass Holder’s prior consent.

  10. Commercial and Brand Restrictions

The Pass Holder shall not use the Pass or their presence at the Event for any commercial, promotional or marketing purposes without prior written consent. The Pass Holder shall not create any impression of association, sponsorship or endorsement with the Event, the Promoter or FOWC.

The use of any Formula 1 or Event or Circuit-related trademarks, logos or intellectual property is strictly prohibited without authorisation.

  11. Anti-Bribery and Compliance

The Pass Holder undertakes to comply with all applicable anti-corruption, anti-bribery and anti-fraud laws and regulations. The Pass Holder shall not use the Pass to obtain any improper advantage or to influence any person in connection with business or public functions.

  12. Minors

Access to the Event by minors (under 18 years old) is subject to prior authorisation by a parent or legal guardian. All minors must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult, who shall assume full responsibility for their safety, conduct and compliance with these T&Cs.

  13. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Such processing may include accreditation management, security, operational and compliance purposes.

  14. Emergency Procedures

The Pass Holder shall comply with all emergency procedures, evacuation protocols and instructions issued by the Promoter or relevant authorities. The Pass Holder shall not interfere with emergency services or safety operations.

  15. Revocation and Sanctions

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Pass, deny access to the Venue and/or exclude the Pass Holder from current or future events in the event of any breach of these T&Cs. Such measures may be taken without compensation and without prejudice to any additional legal remedies available.

  16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising in connection with these T&Cs shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid.
