MADRING North and MADRING South are not connected by pedestrian routes, so each attendee must check their ticket to see which zone they should head to before starting their journey. Metro, Cercanías, EMT buses and special shuttle services will be the priority options for reaching the circuit.

MADRING presents the mobility plan for the FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA, which will take place from 11 to 13 September, with a system designed to prioritise public transport, distribute the arrival of fans and manage traffic flow around the circuit throughout the weekend.

From a mobility perspective, the circuit is divided into two large independent sectors: MADRING South, primarily linked to IFEMA MADRID and Ribera del Sena street, and MADRING North, in Valdebebas. Each has its own access points and transport alternatives, and there is no direct pedestrian connection between them, meaning that a spectator arriving at one sector with a ticket for the other will not be able to walk to their designated area. For this reason, the ticket will be the key reference for planning the journey: each purchaser will receive a transport option specifically recommended for their access point.

Metro, Cercanías, EMT buses and special shuttle services will make up the main transport alternatives. In MADRING South, Feria de Madrid and Mar de Cristal stand out, supported by reinforcements to Line 8 with six-car trains and frequencies of around three minutes during periods of highest demand, while Line 4 will provide an alternative route via Canillas, Mar de Cristal and San Lorenzo. For MADRING North, the main reference point will be Valdebebas Cercanías station (C-1), with reinforced Renfe services: intervals of between five and seven minutes on Friday during peak periods and five-minute intervals on Saturday and Sunday. This is complemented by bus routes serving the entire surrounding area and shuttle services from Plaza de Castilla, Canillejas, Avenida de América and Estadio Metropolitano.

The Grand Prix will involve traffic restrictions and access controls on roads closest to the circuit, with operations planned from 07:30 to 20:30, extendable if required. The Plan expressly maintains access for residents, workers and users of activities in the surrounding area, and establishes in Las Cárcavas a specific protection zone that preserves access for accredited residents, regular public transport, essential services and emergency services. There will be no free parking for spectators: those choosing to travel by private vehicle will have access to Estadio Metropolitano as the official supplementary car park connected by shuttle service, with limited spaces and advance booking required, in addition to parking areas available for purchase at Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium. Taxi and VTC services will have designated zones on Añil street, next to El Corte Inglés (MADRING South), and on José Antonio Corrales avenue (MADRING North).

The operation is completed by 15 large pre-screening areas, 18 access points and more than 150 entry lanes, as well as footbridges and pedestrian routes to manage crowd flows: MADRING South includes sections 1 to 5 and MADRING North sections 6 to 17. All information will be available through the new official MADRING app, launched today, which will allow users to consult maps, practical mobility information and the latest updates, as well as through the circuit’s official website and social media channels. With this operation, MADRING is finalising preparations to welcome fans from 11 to 13 September, when the cars will take to the track for the first time.
