Please be advised that all applicants - whether applying individually or being submitted by an assigning editor - must meet the official accreditation criteria established by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and/or F1, as outlined in the
You can review the full criteria below or access the FIA accreditation guide (PDF) . The validation of accreditations for the FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER SPANISH GRAND PRIX 2026 corresponds to the FIA and/or F1.
FIA Criteria:
- Professional media entity with a primary reporting focus within Spain only.
- Demonstrate consistent coverage dedicated to Formula 1, Motorsport, or general Sports.
- Meet the following minimum circulation/viewership requirements:
- Print publications: A minimum circulation of 20,000 copies (weekly or monthly), or 50,000 copies (daily).
- Online platforms: A minimum of 250,000 unique users per month.
- Provide confirmation of the publication frequency and type.
- Supply contact information for your Editor or Sports Editor.
- Provide full contact details for the individual seeking accreditation.
- Mandatory attachments must include:
- A formal request on official letterhead, signed by your Editor or a senior team member (a template is provided).
- Relevant sample(s) of your publication or proof of coverage.
- A recent ID photo of the representative.

Please be advised that all applications are reviewed directly by the FIA, which holds sole responsibility for final approvals. Applicants will be notified of their status approximately 15 days prior to the race weekend. Due to strict capacity limits, please note that submitting an application does not guarantee accreditation.
Once these FIA requirements have been met, you may apply for accreditation using the following buttons, depending on the type of media:
- If your outlet has a print edition, select “Written Press”.
- Photographers working exclusively for a media outlet must apply for accreditation through the “Written Press” or “Digital Media” form, as applicable. All other photographers must complete the “Photo Agencies” form.
